20 years ago today, Season 4 of The Wire premiered on HBO. In my opinion, the best season of the best show ever made.
Four kids trying to navigate life and figure out their next moves, and as the season goes on, you watch each of them deal with their own struggles. The writing was incredible, but the acting from these young guys is what really made it hit different. And 20 years later, it still holds up.
Shout out to my guy @iamjulito for his role! The fact that people STILL have feelings about Namond 20 years later tells you he did his job! Give the show their flowers this year at the Emmys. #TheWire #bestshowever #HBO
