US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed celebrated his victory by taking on Aipac and the special interests that poured millions into trying to defeat him. Addressing JD Vance, who is expected to swear him into the Senate in January, El-Sayed joked about the prospect of being called Senator. He jokingly thanked Aipac for spending $42 million against his campaign, saying it had given him the opportunity to beat the lobby twice. El-Sayed also delivered a strong message on Palestinian rights, saying that believing Palestinian children deserve to grow up without being killed by US tax dollars is not hate, but love. He called for American tax money to fund schools, healthcare and infrastructure at home rather than apartheid, genocide and war. He also took a shot at the political establishment, saying, "To the super PACs and special interests who tried to beat us, we are coming for your system of politics."
