Today is the opening of “String Figures” and I feel very, very lucky to be presenting my work alongside @annegretsoltauofficial , an artist I deeply admire and to be part of this exhibition with @galerieanitabeckers at @susanneburmehl Salon 166 (Friedrichstraße 166, 10117 Berlin ) Thank you so much to Susanne for the invitation and to Nina Moessle for curating and bringing this beautiful show together.

For a Chilean, September 11 is also a very difficult date: it marks the anniversary of the 1973 coup d’état, which began a long period of dictatorship and fascism in our country; a history that, in many ways, feels painfully renewed today. Despite the weight of this date, I feel excited and thankful to come together with these powerful women and with all of you, to imagine and think together about new ways of being in this world with more solidarity and care 🌱 I hope to see you there!
