Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board

Don’t Let Trash be the Catch of the Day.

What we drop on streets, sidewalks, and parking lots can wash into storm drains and flow to bayous, lakes, and the Gulf. Litter and pollution can affect the ecosystem that Louisiana seafood depends on. Whether you are on foot or in a boat, please do your part to keep trash from polluting our waterways.

Common Pollutants:
-Plastic bottles and cups
-Food wrappers
-Cigarette butts
-Plastic bags
-Styrofoam containers

Protect our water. Protect our seafood industry. Protect our way of life.
