Ciara Mageean, what a woman you were 🤍 At around 6:00 this morning, on the bus to the start of the NYC Marathon, I found out that Ciara had passed away. It still doesn’t feel real, and I’m not sure it will for a long time. I’m going to try my best to write something here that sums up how special Ciara was, to me and to so many, but something tells me words won’t even come close. She was the friend who was always there for me whatever I needed. The strongest, toughest competitor and athlete I’ve ever come across, and a fierce friend to anyone lucky enough to have some of her time, yet somehow she always found time for everyone. Ciara lit up every room she walked into with her infectious smile and laugh. She could talk to anyone, and was completely selfless with her time. On training mornings at the track in Stockport, she’d stop to talk and joke around with the visually impaired and disabled track users and if I ran past they’d say “is that Ciara?” and be thoroughly disappointed when it was just me. I’ll miss her advice, her laugh, the two of us being silly together. She was the first person I’d want to call when I was sad, or excited, or when I needed someone to tell me what to do. The world has lost an incredible soul, and without her there’s a big Ciara-shaped hole in my life and in the lives of so many others. But I know exactly what Ciara would say. Keep on keeping on. Make the absolute most of every opportunity and every single day we’re gifted of this life. That’s how she lived, and that’s how I want to honour her. I thought about her every step of the way around New York today. I gave it everything I had, and I hope I made you proud, Ciara. Rest easy, my friend, I miss you already 🤍
It’s been a wild few weeks. I just want to express my gratitude for everything to everyone. From getting to open up the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga to getting the entertainer of the year award at @intlbluegrass and seeing all my friends there.. jamming till 4am .. to the amazing shows in Huntsville at the beautiful @theorionamphitheater to the madness of our Halloween shows in Baltimore.. trick or treating in all the different rooms backstage at @cfgbankarena with my son. Working so hard on the He-man theme and seeing it all come together.. I was nervous leading up to it. I had to sit down and catch my breath shortly before we walked on stage. I was having bad anxiety and we had been playing for 8 hours a day leading up to it trying to cram all these arrangements in our brains. I had no idea if we were gonna pull it off but somehow we always do. Even the couple original tunes I wrote for the theme went over great!! It’s just been an absolute whirlwind and I am so grateful to be able to do make this music with this incredible band and amazing team who all work their hind-ends off to make it happen. The little kid in this picture would not believe it. Thank you all for blowing his little mind.
"Abigail Ronson, a spokesperson for the Mike Rogers campaign, is a registered foreign agent for the state of Israel—one of two foreign agents working on the Rogers campaign, according to a review of foreign agent registration records." "Ronson, who used to work for Senate Majority Speaker Mike Johnson, is a digital communications specialist at Convergence. In a May FARA filing, she also registered as a foreign agent for Israel, doing work for HAVAS Media Network via Brad Parscale’s Clocktower X LLC." "Ronson is joined by at least one other Israeli agent on the campaign: Jesse Stokes is another Convergence Media staffer who registered as a foreign agent in October 2025 as part of the Havas contract. Stokes appears to pen many of Rogers’ press releases, and is the author on the April press releases announcing his Senate run, according to the document metadata." - via @dropsitenews
