Reflecting on a decade of growth in Dubai’s vibrant cultural landscape, attending the Dubai Opera 2026/2027 Season Opening Celebration was a deeply meaningful moment.

Connecting with Lara Ewing, Head of @dubaiopera , alongside fellow arts leaders from the region, to celebrate the venue’s 10th anniversary served as a powerful reminder of how far our creative community has come.

When we began our journey with Encore and the National Youth Orchestras and Choirs Dubai nearly ten years ago, our goal was simple: to build sustainable pathways for young musicians and elevate performance standards across the region. Partnering with a world-class institution like Dubai Opera has been instrumental in shaping that vision and providing our young artists with a stage worthy of their dedication.

In September 2017, we inaugurated the Dubai Opera Studio in partnership with Dubai Opera, a new performance venue for solo and chamber music. What began with the Music in the Studio series grew into Global Notes, and over the years has brought numerous performances and masterclasses with some of the finest professional musicians and ensembles from around the world.

True artistic impact is built on long-term collaboration. As we look ahead to a new season of music, culture and creative excellence, I remain deeply grateful to the entire team at Dubai Opera for their unwavering support of youth, arts education and live performance.

Here’s to the next decade of inspiring the next generation of performers.
