Hälsningar Dicran, Annikas man. Swish Annika 070-468 04 58
The Journal | GOOD MORNING by Ailana Geven Keller—My morning started—let’s say gleefully. Emily yelled from the living room that she was coming in. || Read this and more on Patreon (link in bio). || “Happy Halloween. Do something cute.” She had my Canon pointed at me. “I was going to put my leggings on first.” She looked around the room. “Are you even my sister? If you say you were going to wear shoes, I’m calling Officer Lopez and asking for help!” Okay… granted… How can you not smile when that kind of joy greets you first thing in the morning? It is Halloween, and the kids are all going to a party at church later. Geoni’s surprise Halloween outfits for Emily and Kel have yet to be unveiled. But before that, Dylan Cruz, the tutor we’re considering, is coming by to meet everyone. The school gave us his name and said he’s great, so we’re optimistic. Jason has gone to Walmart to get some things for dinner tonight. We’ve invited everyone to our condo for a casual paper-plate event. I’ll share more details about our plans for the evening later. It’s going to be a big day. My putzing around the condo and writing will probably be the least interesting part, but I’ll check in later. See you then! ~~ PLEASE HELP THE JOURNAL GROW: If you’d like to help AGI, please leave a comment, save this post, and share it. Your comments not only let me know what you think and give my day a lift, but they also help this post get shown to others who might like it. Be your best you! #aiart #Halloween #Family #Storytelling #Photography

Interviews with lawmakers, lobbyists, former staffers, GOP operatives, Democratic organizers and Miami voters who know GOP Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar revealed the extent of the damage to her once-glittering political brand. Suddenly, she is as despised by some in her party as she is loved. Local Democrats loathe her, viewing Salazar as a hypocrite who has betrayed a vibrant city remade by an explosion of Latino culture and language. Those who support the administration’s mass deportation agenda view her as an existential threat to Trump’s restrictive immigration policies. Salazar’s predicament is unmistakable in the final days of the midterm campaign. She is facing what appear to be gale force Democratic winds while at the same time navigating the political hazards of one of the GOP’s most radioactive issues. Read the full story at the link in our bio. 📸 Ysana Perez for POLITICO
