“I was really excited by Strictly Inc. and when we listened to it when it was completed, Jack said ‘Well, that’s fantastic. If this was the new Genesis album, everyone would be very happy.’ I felt I’d covered all bases on this album. It had some range and quality about it that made it special.” - Tony, 2019

wonderful album. had to jump through hoops as a teenager to get my hands on it and it was (is) well worth it.

“An Island In The Darkness” is the greatest Genesis track that never was. I always wondered how it would have been if Jack Hues had become the new lead singer rather than Ray Wilson—although I quite liked Ray’s singing too.
