The Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation was very excited to partner with Stand Up to Trash through their Adopt-A-Channel Program for San Juan Creek!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the County of Orange, Supervisor Katrina Foley, OC Creek Team, and all of the incredible volunteers who came out to help make a difference.
Together, we collected over 500 pounds of trash from San Juan Creek! 🌿💧
Protecting our waterways and caring for our ancestral homeland is a responsibility we all share. We are grateful for this partnership and the community members who continue to show up and take action.
We are already looking forward to our next event—so stay tuned!

Great video of a wonderful and purposefully day taking care of our Tribal land . This should be an event that the Tribe does quarterly and certainly an event that our youth should be taking part of. Maybe getting class credit for community service...
