Great Heron Circle | The Vision ✨

Some clients can immediately see what I see in my head. Others need a little help getting there — and this project was definitely the latter. 🤍

When we started the design process back in February, my clients were nervous. They had been through construction before, including an addition to their home more than 12 years ago, but remodeling the spaces you actually live in every day is an entirely different experience.

And then I started throwing them some curveballs. 😏

Ideas they hadn’t considered. Materials they wouldn’t have chosen on their own. Details that pushed them outside their comfort zone. More than a few moments of, “Just trust me on this one…”

Because as we worked through their original ideas, they started to realize something themselves: what they initially thought they wanted was… well, a little boring. 😂

These professionally drawn renderings became such an important part of the process. Every detail was carefully thought through so they could finally see the finished home before construction ever began.

And now? The nerves have turned into excitement.

This house is about to undergo a major contemporary transformation, while still feeling warm, comfortable and completely livable. I genuinely think their family and friends are going to be stunned when they walk through the door.

And we’re not stopping here — the bathroom is part of this remodel too. 👀

Keep scrolling to see where we’re starting… and stay tuned for the transformation.
