"The Wild Swans at Coole" is a celebrated lyric poem by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats, written between 1916 and early 1917. First published in June 1917, it serves as the title poem for his 1917 and 1919 poetry collections.

Yeats wrote the poem while staying at Coole Park in County Galway, the estate of his close friend and patron, Lady Gregory. The poem is deeply melancholic and reflective, capturing a specific transitional moment in Yeats's life and Irish history 💚
