Spinning today. Original 1981 pressing of #mobrules by #blacksabbath - the 2nd studio album with #dio and along witb heaven and hell, one of the best they did without Ozzy.
This version features several misprints on the vinyl stickers, Bulter rather than Butler, Mob Brules rather than Mob Rules and Slippin Away rather than Slipping Away. The vinyl has been sitting on my shelf for well over a year as it was practically unplayable with dust but @silvermachine76 kindly gave it a machine clean and it plays brilliantly. Some cracks and pops but still very good.
The whole band are on top form here and whilst Bill Ward is missed, there's some absolutely banging underrated Sabbath tracks such as Sign of the Southern Cross, Falling off the Edge of the World, Over and Over and Mob Rules. If you stand by Henry Rollins take that you can only trust the first 6 Sabbath albums, you're missing out.
