Neave

Not even ashamed 🤣 Here's a little story time

I ran my first GRN in 2022 but didnt get pulled out the ballot for 2023 when Eddie Howe was the race starter and I was GUTTED.

I made a promise to myself I would do it every year until I got a high five from an NUFC player/manager/coach.

Last year came and I though here we go when we had Pope, Burn and Murphy but THEY WERE GONE WHEN I GOT TO THE START LINE!!

I didnt get pulled out the ballot this year either and was GUTTED but ended up paying a random man called Steve £50 for a bib with the name of Billy and to say the least I thought it was a scam.......

It wasn't and today, I have managed to free myself from needed to do the Great North Run again when poor Big Dan Burn turned back round and gave me a high five.

Mission accomplished with still having 13.1 miles ahead of me, but I managed to get past that finish line too, still laughing about the fact i scared Burn into turning back round - really wish you could have seen his face, poor lad was terrified
