My calm in every storm🪽

The man who took me in and loved me as his own. A simple man who always went with the flow and somehow found a way to fix everything in his own way, what we called the “Phil Special.”

He taught me so much about life, including the little, weird things….like keeping his chicken cutlet sandwich warm, on the beach, wrapped in foil and tucked into the sand. He was also the only man I knew who ate Herr’s chips with his pasta and a glass of cold milk on the side—-against our religon😭

He never asked for a helping hand, he wanted to do everything himself, no matter how long it took. He was a fighter until the very end.

He smiled brightest by the water and whenever my mom was by his side. I was the only girl and the youngest of seven for 29 years. He was both my protector and my buddy, no matter what, he always had my back.
Our bond will never be forgotten & cherished forever. The love he had for our family will live on as a beautiful legacy of the life he gave us.

Rest easy Muscle Man. You were one of a kind and I will miss you terribly. I love you
