“I’m not putting up with anybody’s shit anymore” – Davido’s sister Sharon calls out hairstylist for arriving late Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke, has called out a hairstylist for allegedly keeping her waiting long past her appointment time despite charging her a substantial amount. In a post shared online, Sharon said the hairstylist was still nowhere to be found 45 minutes after her scheduled appointment. She expressed her frustration, adding that she was grateful she knew how to style her own hair and would no longer tolerate such treatment. “It’s been 45 minutes past my appointment time, and the hairstylist is still not here. Thank God I know how to do my own hair. I’m not putting up with anybody’s shit anymore,” she wrote.
Happy Halloween! 🎃🩸 What better way to wrap up spooky season than with a return to one of horror’s most iconic stories? For our final digital cover of the month, we’re stepping into the world of #Carrie with Alison Thornton (@ali.g.thornton), who takes on the role of Chris Hargensen in Mike Flanagan’s series adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic debut novel. Reimagining a character previously portrayed by Nancy Allen in the beloved 1976 film, Alison brings a fresh perspective to one of Carrie White’s most notorious bullies. With the new adaptation expanding the story across eight episodes, Thornton explores the troubled teenager behind Chris’s cruelty, finding the humanity in a character audiences love to hate. “So much of what Chris does comes from her home life and her lack of emotional support, and a lot of the conversations with Mike [Flanagan] were just about humanizing her and making sure that she doesn’t just come from a place of cruelty for the sake of cruelty. A lot of her bullying Carrie has nothing to do with Carrie. It all has to do with Chris and what she’s going through, and her lack of healthy coping mechanisms.” Read the full cover feature at Popternative.com. Link in bio.
