I definitely let mine decompress after school. I learned my lesson with my eldest a year or two ago lol.

express how she feels. she is allowed to say i hurt her feelings or if she feels ive done something wrong.

👏👏👏 same! Another thing I do that wasn’t allowed, is having actual conversations to figure out why my kid is doing what they’re doing or behaving like they’re behaving.. finding out the root cause rather than just disciplining, works better.
