Finis.
What I was trying to say but couldn't finish is that this was a difficult accomplishment to walk 100kms in 3 days.
People sometimes think that it's just a walk and it wouldn't be that hard. But truly it's quite challenging. It's an 8 hour repetitive stress injury 3 days in a row. But it's also cathartic and the family we built is irreplaceable.
One thing I will say though: this is not as hard as living with kidney disease. Watching Daina struggle through dialysis and watching her fade for years before her transplant was the most difficult thing I've done. And it was a lot easier than what Daina had to do.
What you've done by helping us raise $15,000 as a team and over $500,000 as a group is truly inspiring.
