Our Illumicrate Fantasy theme for December is . . . STORYTELLERS 🌟 Tell me a story, tell me a rhyme, sit for a while if you have the time. Our December book is The Fires of December by Brandon Sanderson and you’ll not want to miss this box if you’re fans of: 🖊️ Sarcastic narrators with character and personality 👭 Ragtag friendship groups trying to save the world 📚 Standalone entrypoints to expansive universes The hand you have been dealt in life is not always ideal, but you do your best to make the most of it. For our heroine, this means following the rules and circumstances laid out for her, until a life-changing event makes her reassess. Determined to change the fate of her land and people, she sets out to stop a deadly plague before it begins. But who will believe a woman from a small village, armed only with tenacity, wisdom beyond her years… and the demon cat she met along the way? Our Illumicrate Exclusive edition is a Royal hardback and features: ✨ An exclusive redesigned cover (art by @harkalelinai, design by @chattynora) ✨ Reverse jacket featuring the trade cover (from the publisher) ✨ Full colour art and foil on the hardback (by @alaynadanner) ✨ Digitally printed edges on all three sides (by @harkalelinai) ✨ Illustrated endpapers with foil; different front and back (by @patsylascanoart) ✨ Digitally signed by the author Our full box will feature four useful and decorative items inspired by our theme and STORYTELLERS fandoms: The Everlasting, The Raven Tower, and Redwall, plus a multi-fandom desk calendar featuring art from @alawinans. The book at a glance: ✨ Adult high fantasy, standalone ✨ All exclusive: redesigned cover; reverse dust jacket; full colour art and foil on hardback; digitally printed edges; illustrated endpapers; digitally signed Content warnings can be found on our website. Love the look of this theme but not a subscriber? Two of the world’s best beatboxers just brought an iconic EDM anthem back to life using nothing but their voices Improver and Taras Stanin joined torces tor an incredible beatbox rendition of Example’s legendary 2011 hit, “Changed the Way You Kiss Me.” They recreated the energy, rhythm and unmistakable sound of one of the defining dance music anthems of the early 2010s, using nothing but their voices. No instruments, no traditional production. Just extraordinary vocal control, powerful beatbox bass and two world-class beatboxers pushing the limits of human beatboxing. Electronic music meets the art of beatboxing. What a combination.
