On Friday, September 18th, @scenenoise and @wslaexperience return to Cairo’s Nile-side venue @ceryle.eg for WSLA 0.3, a listening and dining experience that shifts gears throughout the night, with high-quality sound at its core.
The evening begins around the table with a sit-down dinner by COOLCAT, accompanied by an ambient set from rising selector Youla. From there, the space opens into a listening bar led by Alia Nour, whose selections trace dub and its adjacent sounds through deep grooves and spacious rhythms. Veteran DJ Nour Fahmy follows, taking the room through his distinctive blend of house and electro breaks.
By midnight, Egyptian DJ and producer Omar Fayyad takes over, drawing from his record archive for a set of warm, deep house and rare cuts, gradually turning the listening experience into an intimate club night.
