SPEED WORKOUT… BUT MAKE IT DURING THE NYC MARATHON 🗽🍎🏅

WOW wow wow, my face genuinely hurts from smiling non stop. 🥹 I feel like this race gave me a new found love for running. You guys made me feel SO special out there & I am SO thankful for each and everyone of you who cheered for me yesterday!! 🥹

Really shocked myself with this one. Didn’t look at my elapsed pace or average pace the entire 26.2 miles. I just focused on my speed workout, posting on my story in real time lol (had to share this experience with you guys), & truly having FUN!!! 🥳

Needed this confidence boost sooo bad going into CIM. 😌 3:16:18 & BQ #6

Thank you SO much for this opportunity @endorphinsrunning & @newbalance 🥺 As always, you can use code MAKAYLA for 2 weeks free training! ⚡️

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY!!! T-5 weeks till I attempt a new PR!! 😱

This, and the internet was never invented.
📱
I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
💻
The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
What do you think?

I’ve built so much of my work with @caseyneistat as an inspiration. And today, I had the honor of being with him for this incredible shot🎥

I think it’s safe to say this trip was a success.

Thanks, Casey!

“Do what you can’t.” And here I am.

🗳️ You can budget down to the last penny, but you can’t budget your way out of every policy decision.

And a reminder: Don’t confuse party loyalty with political literacy. A letter next to someone’s name is not a résumé or moral checkmark. Research the people on your ballot. Look at their records, their policies, and the decisions they’ve made. A familiar party label doesn’t tell you everything you need to know.

Because financial literacy and political literacy go hand in hand! It means understanding not just where your money goes, but who has the power to influence how much of it you get to keep. 😉

⏰ NEW YORKERS: Polls close at 9 PM TONIGHT! If you’re in line by 9, you can still vote. Check your state’s polling hours if you’re voting elsewhere.
