Sydney has a serious lack of good late-night food, so a Korean restaurant serving food until midnight on Oxford Street immediately had my attention.
Aunty’s is serving Korean comfort food, soju and late-night bites in Darlinghurst, and after working our way through a pretty decent chunk of the menu, the K-Town “Crack” Fried Chicken was the VERY clear winner. Get it half & half so you can try both sauces, but the gochujang glaze >>>>
The sizzling bulgogi was a very close second.
Also, you need to try Milkis while you’re there. It’s a Korean fizzy milk drink that’s kind of like a lighter, slightly tangier creaming soda. I know ‘fizzy milk’ sounds scary but it’s actually delicious.
