Getting ready to take the stage at #SAFeSummit2026! I love this moment. Someone here asked me, don’t I get nervous anymore? And I said, oh, sure. But I’ve learned to try to channel that nervous energy into an excitement to serve the attendees. I try to sneak a peek through the curtain at the faces sitting in the audience, and try to think about what they need, what their challenges are, how I would help them individually if I could, and I want to roll that willingness to help into a real sense of being seen and understood. As I often say, when you do it right, keynote speaking is listening at scale. And what a privilege it is.
