'Hair that grows towards the Sun', was the name of one of my most popular images. This is not only a literal description but also a Blessing bestowed upon those with that type of hair. Another image I did was called 'Define Gravity', this too was in reference to the hair we have been blessed with and its unique characteristics.
In every portrait I draw the hair is a distinct feature that takes centre stage. I love Afro hair and I also believe that it has other properties such as operating as an antenna, receiving or transmitting who knows what. ☺️
