I was trying to tell myself it was the OCD, but my brain kept saying: “What if this time is different?”

I wasn’t sure about sharing this. I had an OCD flare-up this weekend, but thankfully, I’m feeling so much better now. I managed to get through it, but when you’re in the midst of it, it can be hard to believe you’ll come out the other side. This is proof that things do get better ❤️

This is a glimpse of what living with OCD can be like for me. I talk about some of the thoughts I get stuck on and how I deal with them in my latest YouTube video.

Your words aren’t the problem. Your tone is.

You can ask a hard question without making someone defensive.

Try this:

“Out of curiosity…”

Three simple words.

They soften the question.
They lower resistance.
They make curiosity feel genuine instead of confrontational.

Then pay attention to your delivery.

Smile while you speak.
Your voice changes immediately.

Same words.
Different energy.
