we are all absolutely thrashed... but full 🫶

after a 10 hour drive, with some of us arriving home at midnight, we're all ready for a big sleep 😴

This is Margaret Owen, a 94 year old Jewish anti-zionist, international human rights lawyer and @jewishpeaceniks member. You may have seen her recently, getting arrested with @defendourjuries outside the Labour Party conference, and again outside the US Embassy. Yesterday, Margaret escalated her actions in solidarity with Palestine, joining an interfaith group of Jews, Muslims, Christians and Quakers to block the entrance to Lakenheath RAF base. As part of @lakenheathallianceforpeace Margaret is very clear about why she took direct action to materially disrupt an army base used to refuel US flights used in the war on Iran, where three F35i fighter jets (the same ones used in Israel's genocide of Gaza) have been spotted, and is also storing base for nuclear weapons.
