Myla Valerie, where do I start?
This last year has been a mix of blurred memories from sleepless nights and ones I hope I never forget.

It's a strange emotion having your first baby turn 1 when I feel like it was only yesterday your dad and I looked at each other with both panic and excitement when my waters broke on your exact due date! (Clever from the start 😉) Everyday you teach me something new, patience is top of the list 😆 I never knew my heart could hold space for someone so small and new to my world but baby girl I couldn't imagine a life with you not in it. You've completely changed my life and me as person which comes with mixed emotions. I'm not the girl I used to be but the women I hope you inspire to be like one day.

Thank you for bringing so much joy, accepted exhaustion and chaos to our days and endless love. We can't accept the fact you're growing up so fast but I can't wait to see the little girl you're shaping to be. Stay curious, kind and loving my sweet girl. Happy first birthday 🎀🩷🌸
