Carla Fernández @carlafernandezmx has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Mexican fashion, guided by a principle that has shaped her entire career: preserving and celebrating Mexico’s textile heritage through design.

For more than two decades, she has worked alongside Indigenous and mestizo communities, incorporating traditional techniques, knowledge, and textiles into a language of her own. Her practice brings contemporary design together with respect for the origins of each textile and for the people who take part in its creation.
