Ákos Polgárdi @akospolgardi is the founder of the Hugarian Book Design Award, and co-founder of @submachine.co and one of our jury members for this year.
On 17 September we will host a portfolio review session with him (fully booked), at the Local Design Library, and on the 18th you’ll be able to hear him talk at the Local Design Awards Gala conference alongside our other speakers.
On the 19th, starting at 14:00 we will open, also at @atelierfabrik a capsule exhibition with the awarded books from the past four editions of the competition showcasing Hungary’s best book design, in the presence of Ákos.
His presence at the gala was made possible with help from the Liszt Institute in Bucharest @lisztinstitutebucharest
What did the jury pick?
Find out on 18 September, at the gala.
