Maybe a year ago I made this film, about feeling like your life is running past you, it is called ‘Backwards Zoetrope’ because instead of the image spinning, the person viewing the painting spins. I felt like this disorienting action summed up how I felt about life quite well, either way I might write something about it in my newsletter since it’s been a year.
Thank you 10000 times to my volunteers, and to everyone who came to a screening.
@lily__montague made the music for this, it came out of a bunch of emails we had been sending, one where i described cutting off the sleeve of my threadbare favourite jumper before I threw it in the bin, we decided it was a sign of sacrifice and moving on. Lily came up with the rest, and I love it.
