So, Little Shop of Horrors is a 1960s style rock musical about an unassuming guy, Seymour, who works in a flower shop and gets ahold of this really weird plant. Everyone in town wants to see it, business picks up, and he finally feels like his life is going somewhere. Except it turns out the plant needs blood, and that’s where the horror/comedy part of the musical really picks up….

Seymour decides to just go along with it because things are finally working out for him, but the plant just gets bigger and hungrier. There’s also a girl at the shop he’s falling in love with, which as you can probably guess, will complicate things.

At face value, Little Shop of Horrors sounds like just another grim drama, but it’s actually really funny in an ironic way where you’ll be watching and keep chuckling to yourself, “bro, please stop feeding that thing.”
