Indrajeet,
I have known you since 2014, when you first came to me as an Assistant Director. At that time, we started working together, and somewhere along the way, that professional association turned into a friendship, a brotherhood, and a beautiful family like bond.
From Ventilator to my journey as a filmmaker, you have been there through every phase. From 2014 to 2024, when I finally made my debut as a director with April May 99, the way you stood by me, supported me and walked alongside me is something I honestly cannot put into words.
I often think of life as crossing a sea. When you are travelling a long distance in a boat, sometimes a small piece of wood is needed to keep that boat balanced. In my ten-year journey towards becoming a director, you were that support for me.
You were not just my Associate Director on April May 99. You were someone who stood beside me through the entire journey. And today, while I am making my second film as a director, you are still there beside me as my Associate Director. That means a lot to me.
I hope this journey that began in 2014 continues for many, many more years with the same friendship, trust, love and madness.
I am writing this to you today because, as your big brother and as your friend, I just want you to know that you are genuinely a good human being, a good person and, most importantly, a good soul.
I have never really written about you before. Sometimes we feel so much for people but don’t say it face-to-face. And when we do, it can sometimes sound like we are praising them too much. I don’t want this to be that. I am simply trying to express, in my own way, what you mean to me.
Happy Birthday once again Indra
@jeetbhosaleAnd yes, I’m putting your favourite song on my post the one you’re always singing or playing in the car.
Thank you for being there.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
And thank you for being you.
Our journey has only just begun.
