On the 15th September, in London, I had the privilege of receiving the Business Travel People's awards 2026, winning in the category of EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion).

This recognition means so much, not just for me, but for every voice, story, and community that deserves to be heard and celebrated.

From fighting racism and navigating the patriarchal workplace barriers of the 1980's to leveraging my CIPD dissertation to build a global EDI platform for travellers, this award represents every voice and community fighting for inclusion.
To see that work recognised on a global stage is truly humbling.

Here’s to continuing the mission: breaking barriers, amplifying voices, and creating spaces where everyone belongs.
