🏔️🎶 MSO Musicians: Summer Edition — Grand Teton Music Festival!
From Milwaukee to the mountains! This summer, three MSO musicians headed west to the spectacular Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Acting Principal Bassoon Rudi Heinrich and Acting Principal Bass Andy Raciti joined the festival orchestra onstage, while Principal Librarian Paul Beck brought his expertise behind the scenes — preparing and organizing the music that makes every rehearsal and performance possible. Orchestra librarians are an essential part of the musical team, working alongside their colleagues to make sure everything onstage runs seamlessly. 🎼
Of course, summer festival life isn’t all rehearsals and concerts. When they weren’t working, there were some pretty spectacular mountains to explore! 🥾🏔️
From the stage to the music library — and occasionally the hiking trail — we love seeing MSO musicians bringing their talents to festivals around the country. 💙
