ACE - Action in Caerau and Ely

We warmly invite you to join us at the CAER Heritage Centre, Church Road, Caerau at 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday 22nd October 2026 for:

Discovering Our Community Together: The Viv Thomas Exhibition and launch of the ACE story project
Over the past 14 years, local creative, film-maker, photographer and community volunteer, Viv Thomas has documented the evolution of our community development organisation Action in Caerau and Ely (ACE).

In particular, Viv has charted the success of ACE’s award-winning CAER Heritage project which has discovered an amazing 6,000 years of history in Caerau and Ely while opening up new opportunities and improving well-being for local people of all ages. This has included community digs, history projects, co-created art and films, family events, scholarships and our wonderful CAER Heritage Centre...all of which Viv has captured beautifully.
This wonderful FREE exhibition will also launch an amazing NEW ACE Story project, charting the 20-year history of ACE through podcasts, images, blogs, activities, events and a new web site.

SO PLEASE do come along and experience Viv’s fascinating images and films of CAER’s community discoveries while enjoying some free nibbles and soft drinks.

You will also be able to learn more about the ACE Story Project – and if you have any great memories of either CAER Heritage or ACE, please do bring these along with you!
