I could describe my past year using so many words, but if I had to choose just three, they would be Audacious, Demanding and Fruitful.
Audacious, because I did things that required courage, took chances on opportunities I wasn’t entirely sure I was ready for, and found myself in rooms and situations I once only imagined. Some decisions were bold, some were uncomfortable, and some required me to trust God and take the first step even when I couldn’t see how everything would turn out.
Colorful, because growth came with responsibilities, difficult decisions, long days, unexpected changes ill health, great loss and moments when I had to keep going even when I would have preferred to pause.
Fruitful, because despite it all, I have something to show for the courage, effort, prayers and sacrifices. Not everything went according to plan, but not everything had to for the year to count.
I am grateful for how the past year turned out and most importantly, God’s faithfulness through it all.
