Somewhere between trust and fear; the stories I’m grateful to have told over the last eight and a half years.

It’s tempting to sit in the fear of what does not yet exist. I was once told to learn to lean back and look forward. To carry the space behind you while continuing to walk forward.

Recently, in this quiet period in an industry that’s been difficult, gathering my footage to build a new showreel has reminded me that, sure, there are a seemingly insurmountable number of goals I’ve yet to achieve.

But what I have achieved, as a working-class lad with no industry connections, from a small island in North Wales; is something I should be proud of. Something I should remember and carry with me moving forward.

It’s a long road, and one without much direction.

But sprint, walk or crawl, it’s the road I chose.

And I’m still walking it.
