This is my second set of photos taken by @totenpictures at the La Fortezza del Cosplay event, inside the fortress's mighty walls and the field just outside.

Throughout the whole shooting, I imagined how many battles must have been fought to conquer Fortezza di Verrucole...

Did you know it was built atop an older settlement and belonged to the Gherardinghi family? Its first siege is dated back to 1170AD by the Republic of Lucca ⚔️

Thinking about how many swords and weapons must have crossed their sharp edges on this site made me dizzy during the shoot, but it was an amazing experience and it created the perfect vibe and ambience for me to imagine I was experiencing Berserk's Golden Age for real!
