I don't tend to understand that behavior. If someone posts things against my beliefs, I unfollow or block them. I don't understand the desire to DM people hateful, mean, rude, etc things.

I follow you closely and truly enjoy your beautiful embroidery. I thought for quite a while about whether to share my perspective, and in the end I deleted what I had written because I really didn’t want to bring politics into this. Still, I found myself struggling with the use of the word “Zionists,” because I wondered whether you perhaps meant “Israelis.” I feel that this subject is much more complex, and that understanding what Israelis have been experiencing, and the reasons behind this long and painful conflict, requires looking at it from a deeper perspective. October 7th made me understand the depth and complexity of the conflict in an even more painful way. The involvement of Hamas, and of Palestinians who cooperated with or supported the attack, was deeply shocking to me. Israel is a sovereign country recognized by the UN and has the right to defend its citizens against terrorism. Watching Fauda also gave me a different perspective on the reality in the region. Some of what it portrays is very difficult and disturbing, but it helped me understand aspects of the conflict that are difficult to grasp from a distance. I’m sharing this simply because I value your work so much, and because I felt that this perspective was worth sharing. I hope you don’t mind me saying this.
