It’s race week at one of my favorite tracks on the schedule, VIR!
First off, a massive thank you to all the people who reached out after the wreck at Canada. Happy to report that the x ray showed no broken bones in my foot, and, although mildly painful, I will be racing this weekend in the penultimate round of the 2026 @gotransam Season.
Next, another big thank you to the teams willing to offer a seat for this race. Unfortunately the car we all know and love sustained major damage and will likely not be returning this season. I am very fortunate and very grateful to have a car available to drive this weekend, and once again a huge thank you to everyone who helped get this set up.
Paul Newman once said @virnow is heaven on earth, tune in Sunday at 1:00 PM ET on @racingamerica_ to see what he means.
