Um cuidador domiciliar de 30 anos foi preso em Lake Charles, na Louisiana, após câmeras de segurança registrarem o momento em que ele supostamente colocou água sanitária na garrafa de um paciente com deficiência física e intelectual.
Nas imagens, Reginald Andre Wilson aparece colocando o produto no recipiente e entregando a bebida ao paciente. Segundo a polícia, a vítima percebeu o gosto de água sanitária e o cuidador teria admitido o que fez a um familiar.
O paciente foi levado ao pronto-socorro para avaliação. Wilson foi afastado pela empresa responsável pelo atendimento e enfrenta acusações de mistura de substâncias nocivas, crueldade contra pessoa com deficiência e agressão agravada.

The footage shows Reginald Andre Wilson pouring the substance into the bottle before handing it to the patient. According to police, the victim noticed that the drink tasted like bleach, and the caregiver later admitted what he had done to a family member.
The patient was taken to the emergency room for evaluation. Wilson was removed from duty and now faces charges of mingling harmful substances, cruelty to a person with infirmities, and aggravated battery.
