Hi.

The past few months haven’t been the best. To none of us, quite literally. I’m sure you also had no idea what was about to happen given all the plans you made with Ma. You were a big part of my life and I didn’t realise that till now. Grief is such a weird thing, honestly. One moment I remember our jam sessions, the other moment I remember that Tuesday when I saw you. I’m not sure whether I wanted to see you like that, but I did anyway. I must admit that while I was horrified to see you in that condition, I was glad to catch a glimpse of you. And on Wednesday you left us. You were waiting for me, weren’t you?

Ma misses you dearly. We all miss you so much. I don’t know what flower you loved but this colour reminds me of you.

I hope you’re singing your heart out up there.
