My favourite witch @vladigalagan , getting me out of my cave and all dressed up. A beautiful night, as always with you 🖤

Over the past couple of years, I’ve really struggled with covering my hair. Between postpartum, health issues, and feeling overstimulated by just about everything, having something on my head all day has felt harder than I ever expected it to.

I love how I feel in a sheitel, but I’ve never really felt beautiful in a tichel. And lately I’ve been wondering if having more options - more ways to feel like myself while covering my hair - might make a difference.

So this month, I’m trying something new.

No Sheitel November. A month of giving tichels a real chance and hopefully finding a few more ways to feel beautiful while doing this mitzvah.

Day 1 🤍

PARENTS - LET’S BRING BACK 90s HALLOWEEN. The REAL Halloween. 🎃

Halloween is supposed to be fun. So why has it turned into another way to fuel parental guilt and pressure?

It goes on for months. Pumpkin patches in September. Halloween decs appearing in August. Months of ‘spooky’ events. And by the time the day comes - I’ve had enough.

Let’s return to the Halloween of our youths. ONE GLORIOUS NIGHT OF ANARCHY. Makeshift costumes. Eating all the sweets in one night.

But we’ll still only knock on doors with lanterns. That’s a good development…I suppose.

WHO’S WITH ME?

And yes. This is unhinged.
