A man downloaded Dexter: Resurrection through BitTorrent and received a copyright infringement notice from Paramount through Starlink just two days later. Sam Guichelaar shared the incident on X, saying he had never received a warning like this before, despite years of downloading torrents. The complaint, dated October 31, came from Vobile, a company that monitors online piracy on behalf of copyright holders. It identified alleged BitTorrent activity linked to his internet connection and requested that Starlink take action. Starlink forwarded the notice, warning that downloading copyrighted material without permission could lead to his internet service being suspended or terminated, as well as possible legal action from Paramount. What caught people's attention was the speed. Within 48 hours of downloading the show, Guichelaar had already received a formal warning from his internet provider, complete with details of the alleged infringement.

Great news for #OffCampus fans — the hugely popular Prime Video college soap will be back sooner than many expected, with Season 2 set to premiere on April 28, 2027. That is less than a year after the May 13 release of Season 1, a very rare gap of under 12 months for a streaming series and one of the smallest on record. See who from the cast is returning at the link in bio.
