Our Founder and Managing Partner,
@tenzinseldon recently contributed to Forbes about the $45 billion whitespace in climate resilience.
Less than four cents of every climate dollar goes to adaptation, and more than 90% of that comes from public budgets. Tenzin's point is that private capital has funded the "eyes on the sky," the satellites and catastrophe models that tell insurers where risk sits, while the "boots on the ground" work of hardening buildings and protecting workers makes up more than 90% of the whitespace and gets almost none of the venture dollars.
