MORE ISN’T ALWAYS BETTER.
One of the easiest traps in endurance sport is chasing miles. I’ve coached athletes for 30 years and I’ve fallen into the same trap myself. More training feels productive, especially when motivation is high.
But volume alone doesn’t guarantee progress.
Good preparation is about how everything fits together, volume, intensity, recovery, strength, progression and specificity. It’s about understanding what the athlete is doing, how they’re responding and whether the training is actually moving them towards the demands of their goal.
That’s also where accountability matters. When you’re self coached it’s very easy to react to individual sessions, chase numbers or simply do more. Having someone objectively looking at the bigger picture can completely change that process.
Train Xhale brings the plan, training data, analysis, athlete feedback and coach communication together in one place.
Same commitment. Better structure. Better decisions.
