Lumi is home. We’ve missed her more than words can say. Having her back where she belongs is a gift and our home finally feels whole again. She’s not out of the woods just yet, but this is a huge step in the right direction. Thank you so much for your lovely messages, kindness and support. Not forgetting the incredible specialist helping lumi get back to health It means the world to us.
Come and meet my mom! She always shows up in a lot of different ways. And I’m sure nobody sees her in the same ways that I see her. It took some time before I was able to see her in her many forms. After my mom died, I wasn’t ready to look for her. I wasn’t ready to say hi in a new way. I just wasn’t ready for a lot of things. And if it doesn’t feel like you’ve seen signs from your dead people, you’re not alone. Not everyone does! Also I’m a big believer that they all decide when the time is right to come back and say hi. All we can do is keep saying hi to them and keep looking for them. Everywhere. All the time. However feels right to you. They are out there. Somewhere. And you get to grieve them however you want to, even if that means talking to plants and animals and doing things society calls “weird.” That’s grief for you. And it can be a beautiful thing. I love you. Keep going. See you soon. • • • • • #griefandloss #lifeafterloss #griefandhealing #grievingprocess #griefcommunity
