trying to put into words what this last year has been is nearly impossible. losing my dad so young when we had so much more life left to live together is so unfair. but his loss has taught me so many lessons and has shaped me into the woman i am today. there’s been so many ups and so many downs but a lot of good has come from this and i choose to see light in the darkness. losing my dad the day after my birthday is tough; but i wanted to do something that would celebrate both of us. i wanted to celebrate some accomplishments i’ve made along the way thru this journey of grief because there is power, beauty and strength in grief that a lot of people overlook and don’t give themselves enough credit for. i love you dad, i miss you more than anything and i hope im making you proud. ❤️🪽
