Matt & Baby a surprise proposal in Cancún

Matt and Baby came to visit Mexico all the way from Washington, DC. As far as she knew, it was just a couple’s photo session at TRS Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. A relaxed afternoon, the Caribbean behind them, laughing and walking along the beach.

Planning a surprise proposal in Cancún, Costa Mujeres or the Riviera Maya? We can turn a regular photo session into the perfect cover. We’ll plan the spot, the timing and the light.

I’ve seen countless viral videos claiming that rotisserie chicken is the most dangerous food on the planet. So I decided to search information about some of the biggest concerns

1. The plastic
Polypropylene (#5) is the same plastic as yogurt cups and microwaveable containers. It’s heat-stable (melts around 320°F), BPA-free, and FDA-cleared for food contact.

2. The chlorine rinse
This happens to the raw bird at the plant, and then it’s fully cooked. It’s not household bleach. The USDA caps chlorine-based antimicrobials at 50 ppm, and chillers often run around 3-5 ppm (US tap water can contain up to 4 ppm). The point is to cut Salmonella and Campylobacter. The EU prefers hygiene controls throughout production instead, which is a policy choice, not evidence of harm.

3. Sodium phosphate
A super common additive in cheese, deli meat, baked goods, and canned soup. It keeps meat juicy. The FDA classifies it as “Generally Recognized as Safe.” One note: people with chronic kidney disease are often told to limit added phosphates.

4. Carrageenan
A seaweed-derived thickener also found in ice cream, yogurt, and plant milks. Food-grade carrageenan is approved by the FDA and EFSA. It’s not the same as poligeenan, a degraded form that isn’t allowed in food. Gut-inflammation concerns come mostly from cell and animal studies, and human evidence is limited. Some people with sensitive digestion report bloating.

5. They spend all day under heat lamps
Costco maintains strict 2hr max for all chickens, but most are picked up by customers before that. You can plan your trip around 10am/1130am/4-430pm to grab it during a restock and avoid any time under the heat lamp

Tochi Wigwe, Daughter Of Late Banker Herbert Wigwe, Marries Investment Executive Wilson Aikhomu In Traditional Ceremony

Otutochi “Tochi” Wigwe, daughter of late former Access Holdings Group Chief Executive Officer Herbert Wigwe, has celebrated her traditional marriage to investment executive Wilson Omogbale Aikhomu.

The ceremony brought together members of the Wigwe and Aikhomu families, alongside friends and loved ones, for a colourful celebration featuring traditional marriage rites and cultural festivities.

Tochi’s aunt, in a social media tribute, shared details of the occasion, including the payment of the bride price, signing of family documents and the formal handing over of Tochi to her husband.

She also reflected on the absence of Tochi’s parents, Herbert and Chizoba Wigwe, and her elder brother, Chizi, who died in a helicopter crash in California on February 9, 2024.

Quoting Isaiah 61:3, the aunt described the occasion as “beauty for ashes”, expressing gratitude that Tochi was able to begin a new chapter of her life despite the family’s painful loss.

Tochi is the daughter of the late banking executive, who also founded the Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe Foundation to preserve his legacy.

Her husband, Wilson Aikhomu, is a Lagos-based investment professional and Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Zoya Admiralty. He is the son of late Rear Admiral Joseph Omozuwa Aikhomu and nephew of former Chief of General Staff, Admiral Augustus Aikhomu.

Earlier reports in September 2026 indicated that the couple were planning a private wedding, with details largely kept away from public attention.
