Dinsdag 3 november Vanmorgen weer rustig wakker geworden, pillen ontbijt op bed. Dat ritme werkt goed voor me. Zie de kids nog net even voordat ze naar school gaan. Er zullen dagen komen dat ze thuis blijven, maar niet vandaag. Even wat ritme. Vandaag heb ik een bijzondere ervaring op de planning staan. Een energetische behandeling @famui.innrgy het voelde een paar maanden geleden toen ze me vroeg, als een ver van mijn bed show. Nu vroeg ze me opnieuw en vertelde ze dat ze het me zo gunde. Mijn nieuwsgierigheid werd gewekt. Ik lag op mijn rug op een massagetafel met een gezichtsmasker op. Er werd een playlist afgespeeld die ze voor mij had samengesteld. De combinatie van ademhaling, aanraking en muziek bracht me even "elders". Het liet me huilen en lachen. Ik kreeg het warm, koud en tintelingen. Ik kan het niet uitleggen, maar het was fijn en bracht me rust en ontspanning. Bedankt voor deze mooie ervaring en het fijne gesprek. Na deze bijzondere ervaring ging het gewone leven door. Mocht Lenne haar hand vasthouden bij haar vaccinatie. Fijn om daar weer bij te zijn. Bij thuiskomst bezoek van Sonja, Wesley (broer van Erwin) en mijn neefje Daan. We hadden mooie gesprekken en bovendien kreeg ik heerlijk eten dat ze mee brachten. Tot slot nog lekker met de kids op de bank!
Before I close this birthday chapter, thank you for all the love, wishes and blessings. 🥹🤍 I’ve spent the last few days celebrating another year of life, but somewhere between all the celebrations, I realised something. We spend so much of our lives wanting to be loved, understood, chosen and celebrated by others that sometimes we forget the one person who’s been with us through absolutely everything. Ourselves. I’ve been so many versions of me. Some I loved, some I struggled to understand, some I’m still learning to forgive. But every single one of them brought me here. Somewhere between wanting to be independent and never wanting to leave my people behind, between making mistakes and making memories, between building a life and learning to live it… I became someone my younger self would be proud of. And if there’s one thing I want to tell you, it’s this: No matter who stays, who leaves, what works out or what doesn’t, please don’t ever leave your own side. Be the person you can come home to. Celebrate your little wins. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. Make yourself happy, even on the days when nobody else knows how to. Love people with your whole heart, but save some of that love for yourself too. I’m still building, still dreaming, still figuring things out. And for once, I’m not in a hurry to become someone else. Thank you for being a part of my journey and for making this birthday so special. Here’s to growing older without leaving the little us behind. 🤍 .
