We are offering signed decks for those that want them. All of the decks are BLEM* decks. Some of the rider's decks are signed by George and Stacy. $50.00 of every sale of each signed BLEM deck go to @theskateparkproject, to help build public skateparks. Bones Brigade BLEM* Decks: Each deck was manufactured in the same way as their first quality counterpart. Each deck has a minor cosmetic defect and could not be offered as first quality. Cosmetic defects include, but are not limited to minor scratching, paint chipping, tape marks, fingerprints, paint smudges, etc. Some feel that a BLEM deck could have more collectible value than it's first quality version. Much like a mis-stamped coin, stamp or other mis-marked collectible since less of them are being made available.
Introducing standing room mag Issue 02, with our cover star @grentperez There is a particular discomfort in growing up: the realisation that the person you are becoming might not have much in common with the person you once were. The things that came naturally begin to require consideration; the freedom of being young gives way to the awareness of how you are perceived. Somewhere between the two, it becomes difficult to tell whether you have outgrown an earlier version of yourself or simply learned to keep it in check. For Grent Perez, that tension has taken on a name. goose, his forthcoming EP, places Grent in conversation with Goose, a younger, more playful alter ego who appears to have little interest in the responsibilities of being an adult. Where Grent is measured by the person he has become, Goose offers a return to the instincts, impulses and irreverence that can get lost along the way. The two are not necessarily at odds because one is right and the other wrong. Rather, their conflict raises a more interesting question: what happens when growing up starts to feel like growing away from yourself? It is an idea that gives goose a life beyond the familiar exercise of an artist reflecting on personal growth. The relationship between Grent and Goose creates room to examine the competing versions of ourselves that coexist, often uneasily, beneath a single name. There is the person we present to the world, the person we believe we ought to be, and the one who still wants to do things simply because they feel good. Maturity might mean learning to live with those differences, rather than deciding which version deserves to survive.
